The 43rd meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare held

The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro held its meeting with the following agenda:

1. The proposal for conclusions from the consultative hearing on the topic “Frequent attacks on health workers in Montenegro“;

2. The proposal for conclusions from the 41th meeting, dedicated to disabled workers from the north of Montenegro, held in Bijelo Polje;  

3. The proposal for the conclusions from the 42nd meeting, dedicated to celebration of World Autism Day;

4. Introducing of the members of the Committee with the letter of the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Damir Davidović, regarding the request to build the disabled access ramp into the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro, after several hours of constructive discussion, regarding proposals for conclusions from: the consultative hearing, from the 41th meeting, dedicated to disabled workers from the north of Montenegro and from the meeting dedicated to celebration of World Autism Day, decided that these should be rephrased, based on the suggestions and proposals of the Committee members. The conclusions, after being adopted, will be forwarded to the authorities responsible for their implementation.  

After the meeting dedicated to celebration of World Autism Day, held on 4 December 2013, the Committee sent a request to the President and the Secretary General of the Parliament, in which they asked that the disabled access ramp should be built in the Parliament. The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro decided on today’s meeting to ask the Secretary General for the additional information, why the decision previously reached was not being realized, for the disabled access ramp to be built and unhindered access to the Parliament building for persons with disabilities allowed
