46th Meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare held

Two requests considered 

For today's 46th Meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, three items of the agenda were envisaged: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, which was submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by MP Srđan Perić; Consideration of the NGO request relating to the Law on Health Care and consideration of request of Mr Rašo Čivović from Nikšić. 

Consideration of the first item of the agenda was postponed for the next meeting due to excused absence of the proposer of the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law Mr Srđan Perić.    

Within the second item of the agenda, Chair of the Committee Zoran Jelić, informed the members of the Committee with the request of non-governmental organizations relating to the adoption of the Rulebook on implementation of the Law on Health Care in part of the alternative practices. Committee members were informed that the Rulebook was drafted by the Ministry of Health and submitted for the opinion of the Secretariat for Legislation. Secretariat for Legislation submitted the Rulebook with the suggestions and opinions for further work to the Ministry of Health, so that the adoption of this legal act is expected. It was stressed at the meeting that the adoption of the Rulebook is expected by a number of non-governmental organizations dealing with this issue as well as the associations of alternative practices in China and India.      

Rulebook on the Implementation of the Law on Health Care in part of the alternative practices will be published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro.

After careful consideration of the request of Mr Rašo Čivović, the disabled person category III from Nikšić, the Committee members reached a conclusion that the Committee should send a note to the Commercial Court, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare on the grounds of allegations raised in the petition of Mr Rašo Čivović. The same note will be sent to the Independent Trade Union of Bauxite Mine Workers JSC Nikšić and Trade Union Organization of Bauxite Mines JSC Nikšić. Based on the information obtained, the Committee will continue with its work.

Also, after the information received by the competent authorities, the disabled person category III from Nikšić Rašo Čivović would be received by the Chair of the Committee Zoran Jelić and member of the Committee Janko Vučinić.

Minutes from the 32nd and 33rd meetings of the Committee were unanimously adopted.
