The meeting was attended by Dr Mira Jovanovski Dašić, Deputy Minister of Health; Dr Sanja Medenica, Director of Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Institute of Public Health; Dr Božidarka Rakočević, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Institute of Public Health; Dragica Terzić, director of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro; Dr Brankica Dupanović from the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro; Dr Nebojša Kavarić, Director of the Primary Health Care Center Podgorica; Dr Director of Office for Emergency Medical Services and Dr Višnja Orban, Chief health sanitary inspector of Montenegro.
Discussion included issues that are, among other things, related to the issues about the cause of this disease, symptoms, clinical presentation, diagnosis, consequences, treatment, transfer and risk of epidemics. It was pointed out that there is no risk of the Ebola disease in Montenegro and that all health sanitary measures were taken in order to prevent the possibility of entering an infected person in our state.
It was agreed at the meeting to schedule an emergency meeting on 19 September (Friday) 2014, which will be dedicated to the current situation of “Montevar-Metalac" workers from Nikšić. Also, it was agreed that, in addition to representatives of Metalac workers, Minister of Economy Vladimir Kavarić, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Predrag Bošković and Minister of Health Dr Miodrag Radunović be invited to the meeting.
