Aside from the members of the Committee, the meeting was attended by Ana Krsmanović, Deputy Ministerof Finance and representatives of disabled veterans,Zoran Kićović and Desimir Hajvaz. The Committee meeting was not attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, although they were invited.

Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Veteran and Disability Protection and the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law of this NGO was forwarded to the members of the Committee

Zoran Kićović, representative of disabled veterans, pointed out that, when the provisions of the Constitution, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Law on Prohibition of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities and the Law on Obligatory Relations were comprehensively reviewed, aside from the fact that the heaviestdisabled veterans could achieve work performance and earnings in the percentage of the remaining common mental and physical health capabilities, in this segment there was no equality of opportunity with healthy persons. The Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Lawis considered justifiedand legitimate.

Representative of the Ministry of Finance said that financial viabilityof the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund would be undermined.

MP Janko Vučinić, member of the Committee, gave support to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law of Disabled Veterans. Also, MP Vučinić announced its submission. The Proposal for the Law was also supported by MPs Emilo Labudović, Neven Gošović and Izet Bralić.
