Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare held 74th meeting

Committee considered several proposals for the law

Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro, at the meeting held on 26 November 2014, considered: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Travel Benefits of Persons with Disabilities, which was submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the Government of Montenegro; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by MP Neven Gošović; Proposal for the Law amending the Law on Veteran and Disability Protection, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by MP Neven Gošović; amendments (three) of MP Džavid Šabović to proposals for laws on amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law and amendments (two) on the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Social and Child Welfare submitted by MPs Aleksandar Damjanović and Velizar Kaluđerović.

The Committee unanimously supported three proposals for laws: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to Pension and Disability Insurance Law, Proposal for the Law amending the Law on Veteran and Disability Protection, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Social and Child Welfare and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt it.

Amendment submitted by MP Džavid Šabović to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law (submitter the Government of Montenegro), was not accepted by the representative of the proponent. Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro adopted the amendment of MP Džavid Šabović.

MP Džavid Šabović, submitter of the amendment withdrew the amendments (two) to the proposal for the law on amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by a group of 18 MPs as well as MPs from DPS.

The proponent, MP Neven Gošović refrained from voting on amendments (two) submitted by MPs Aleksandar Damjanović and Velizar Kaluđerović, and the Committee is of a position that MPs should vote about it at the sitting of the Parliament of Montenegro.
