Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its 86th meeting

Several amendments considered

At the 86th meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, the following items were considered:
1. Amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance:
- 15 amendments submitted by MP Ms Branka Bošnjak and Mr Veljko Vasiljević;
- 7 amendments submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica;
- 2 amendments submitted by MP Mr Neven Gošović;

2. Amendments to the Proposal for Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović:
- one amendment submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović;
- two amendments submitted by MPs Mr Izet Bralić, Mr Džavid Šabović and Ms Draginja Vuksanović;

3. Proposals for conclusions from 73rd and 79th Committee meetings.

In addition to the Committee members, the meeting was also attended by representative of the proposer of the law Ms Ranka Pavićević, Head of the Labour Marker and Employment at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, and Ms Ana Leković, advisor at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. Furthermore, the meeting was also attended by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, as the proposer of the law, as well as submitters of amendments, MPs Ms Snežana Jonica, Ms Branka Bošnjak and Mr Neven Gošović.
Out of 15 amendments, submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance by MPs Ms Branka Bošnjak and Mr Veljko Vasiljević, the representative of the proposer of the law accepted amendments 1, 2 and 4, out which amendments 1 and 2 with a text modified by technical corrections. At the meeting, representative of the submitter of amendments MP Ms Branka Bošnjak withdrew the amendment 3. The remaining 11 amendments (amendments 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15) were not accepted by the representative of the proposer of the law nor by the Committee, so the Parliament will vote on them.
Out of 7 amendments submitted by the MP Ms Snežana Jonica, the representative of the proposer of the law accepted amendment 3, and it became an integral part of the law. Out of proposed 7 amendments, the amendment 2 was accepted by the Committee, while the remaining five amendments (1, 4, 5, 6 and 7) were not accepted by the Committee.
Amendments 2, to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance, submitted by the MP Mr Neven Gošović, were not accepted by the representative of the proposer of the law. Amendment 1 by the MP Mr Neven Gošović was not accepted by the Committee, while amendment 2 was accepted.
Amendment to the Proposal for Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović, was accepted with a modified wording by the proposer of the law, and it became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
Amendment 1 to the Proposal for Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by MPs Mr Izet Bralić, Mr Džavid Šabović and Ms Draginja Vuksanović was not accepted by the proposer of the law, while it was accepted by the Committee. At the meeting, representative of the submitter of amendments MP Mr Izet Bralić informed the Committee that he was withdrawing amendment 2.
At the meeting, the conclusions from 73rd and 79th Committee meetings were adopted, and they would be forwarded by the Committee to the authorities responsible for their implementation.
