Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its 92nd meeting

Four items of the agenda considered

The agenda contained the following items:
1. Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Volunteerism;
2. Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MP Ms Branka Bošnjak;
3. Consideration of conclusions from the Committee meeting dedicated to the current situation in JSC “Ribarstvo” Rijeka Crnojevića; and
4. Current issues.
With a majority of votes, the Committee supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Volunteerism and proposed its adoption to the Parliament of Montenegro.
In accordance with Artcle 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the Committee did not consider the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MP Ms Branka Bošnjak.

The conclusions from the Committee meeting dedicated to the current situation in JSC “Ribarstvo” Rijeka Crnojevića were unanimously adopted, and the professional service of the Committee will forward them to the authorities responsible for their implementation.
Under the item of the agenda Current issues, the Committee unanimously proposed to forward an official letter to the Collegium of the President of the Parliament, for the purpose of implementing a study visit to the Republic of Croatia. 

The Committee did not support the proposal by MP Mr Janko Vučinić to extend the agenda of the meeting with the request to organise a control hearing on the topic of implementation of the provision of the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, prescribing special conditions for retirement of workers whose companies had been closed through bankruptcy procedures.
