Members of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro today held a meeting with members of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Republic of Kosovo, whose members are paying a study visit to the Parliament of Montenegro.  The parliamentary committees of the two states shared their experiences on he set of laws adopted in the field of labour and social welfare, as well as on laws being under parliamentary procedure from the field of health.

They stated, at the meeting, that it was important for Montenegro’s and Kosovo’s governments to sign an agreement on social insurance.  Additionally, the meeting of these two parliamentary committees should improve further bilateral cooperation of Montenegro and Republic of Kosovo, parliaments of the two states as well as these two parliamentary committees.  

This meeting is also a good recommendation to the European Union on how two states, two parliaments and two committees may maintain good regional cooperation.
