At its meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare considered the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Health Care, submitted by MPs Mr Zoran Jelić and Ms Marta Šćepanović. Representative of the proposer of the law accepted the proposed amendment which, in accordance with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, became and integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
The Committee considered the request for convening a joint meeting of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms and the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, where, in accordance with Article 73 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, a consultative hearing would be held on the following topic: “Efficiency of using funds from contributions to professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities”, submitted by MPs Ms Snežana Jonica and Mr Radosav Nišavić. The Committee members have unanimously decided to hold a consultative hearing as soon as possible.
Under the item of the agenda “Current issues”, the Committee was informed on official letters by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices and the Federation of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities "Our Initiative”.
