Pursuant to Article 137 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, at its meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare considered the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro.
In capacity of authorised representatives of the proposer of the law, the meeting was attended by Mr Nikola Vukićević, Director General of Directorate for Budget at the Ministry of Finance and Ms Tamara Ivković, Coordinator at Directorate for Budget at the Ministry of Finance, In addition to the Committee members, the meeting was also attended by representatives of consumer units from the field of health, labour and social welfare: Ms Mirjana Pešalj, Director General of Directorate for Economics in Health; Mr Nikola Dedeić, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare; Ms Stanimirka Mijović, Assistant Director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Montenegro; Mr Kenan Hrapović, Director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Montenegro; Ms Vukica Jelić, Director of the Employment Office of Montenegro; Mr Kemal Đečević, Director of the Labour Fund of Montenegro, and Mr Ranko Lazović, Director of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro.
During the discussion, the Committee members voiced different opinions and views with regard to the proposed 2016 budget for the consumer units from the field of health, labour and social welfare.
Following the all-inclusive and comprehensive discussion, the Committee supported the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro by a majority vote, and proposed to the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro, as the lead committee, to support it and propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt it.
