At today’s meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare unanimously supported the following proposals for laws: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Veteran and Disability Protection and Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare.
In addition, the Committee adopted conclusion from the control hearing of representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance and Protector of Property and Legal Interests of Montenegro. The said hearing was held with regard to Report on auditing success “Expenditures from the budget of Montenegro for litigations arising from labour relations” of the State Audit Institution.
President of the Council for Civilian Control of Police Operations Mr Aleksandar Zeković submitted to the Committee the conclusions from the conference “Police and persons with disabilities” and asked from to Committee to support thereof. The Committee unanimously supported these.
Upon the request of MP Mr Andrija Popović for holding a control hearing, the meeting agreed to send an official letter to representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro with regard to the announcement of the Ministry of Interior that from now on helicopter unit will not transport the sick and injured or provide transport for medical equipment and medicines.
