Legislative Committee holds its 127th meeting

At its 127th meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively voted on Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on Establishing the Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF).

The Committee considered and determined the following amendments as legally acceptable:

Amendments (14) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, submitted by MPs, as follows:

- 5 amendments submitted by MP Mr Srđan Perić;
- 4 amendments submitted by MP Mr Neven Gošović;
- 4 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Goran Tuponja;
- 2 amendments submitted by MPs: Ms Draginja Vuksanović and Ms Snežana Jonica.

Amendments (3) to the Proposal for the Law on Execution of Sentences of Imprisonment, Fines and Security Measures, submitted by MPs, as follows:

- 2 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Goran Tuponja;

- 1 amendment submitted by MPs Ms Azra Jasavić and Ms Marta Šćepanović.

Amendments (5) to the Proposal for the Law on settling obligations towards the workers of Aluminium Plant who retired early due to bankruptcy of the company, submitted by MP Mr Janko Vučinić.

Amendments (3) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MP Mr Janko Vučinić.

Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Bankruptcy, submitted by MPs Mr Mladen Bojanić and Mr Aleksandar Damjanović.

Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MPs Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Srđan Perić.

Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, submitted by MP Mr Srđan Perić.

The Committee also determined as legally acceptable the 7 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica, although the submitter of amendments MP Ms Snežana Jonica did not attend the meeting.

MP Mr Srđan Perić informed the Committee that he was abandoning amendment No 1 to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, out of 4 amendments in total, which he submitted along with MP Mr Goran Tuponja.

In accordance with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider the following:

Amendments (4) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, submitted by MPs, as follows:

- 3 amendments submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica;

- 1 amendment submitted by MP Mr Goran Danilović.

Amendments (8) to the Proposal for the Law on Execution of Sentences of Imprisonment, Fines and Security Measures, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica;

Amendments (2) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Labour Law, submitted by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović.

The Committee determined that the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Execution of Sentences of Imprisonment, Fines and Security Measures, submitted by MPs Mr Predrag Sekulić, Ms Marija Ćatović, Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Mr Damir Šehović, Mr Goran Tuponja and Ms Snežana Jonica, was not in accordance with the Constitution and the legal system.
