Visit of members of the Legislative Committee to the Italian Parliament

During the visit of the Montenegrin parliamentary delegation, the visit of members of the Legislative Committee of the Italian Parliament, the meeting with parliamentarians of the Lower House of the Italian Parliament was realised - members of the Constitutional Affairs Committee, Committee on European Union Policies and Committee on Foreign Affairs

Graet interest was shown for the meeting and talks of the parliamentarians, which were attended by 40 members of the Camera dei Deputati - the Lower House of the Italian Parliament.

In addition to exchanging views on current issues in two parliaments, the hosts showed very friendly attitude towards Montenegro and expressed their willingness to assist and support the efforts of Montenegro on its path towards EU and NATO membership.

It was pointed to the fact that this was the first visit of the parliamentary delegation of Montenegro to the Italian Parliament and willingness was expressed for parliamentary cooperation between our two friendly and neighboring countries to continue to improve.

Meetings with Italian parliamentarians were on behalf of the parliamentary delegation of Montenegro attended by: Mr Velizar Kaluđerović, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Committee (Head of delegation), Mr Luiđ Škrelja, member of the Legislative Committee, Ms Merima Murić, associate in the Legilative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Antun Sbutega, Ambassador of Montenegro to Italy and Mr Aleksandar Drljević, Advisor in the Embassy of Montenegro to Italy.

Parliamentary delegation of Montenegro, in the same composition, will visit the Senate of the Italian Parliament – the Upper House, and have talks with the senators, members of the Constitutional Affairs Committee and the Committee on EU Policy.
