Ninth Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session in 2015 will be held today, 16 July 2015, starting at 11:00.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić will deliver a speech on 11 July, at the event organised on the occasion of marking the Memorial Day for victims of wars led in the former Yugoslavia region.

MPs Mr Andrija Popović, Mr Izet Bralić and Mr Srđan Perić, members of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, held a meeting with representatives of American NGO “The Advocates for Human Rights” - Ms Amy Berquist and Ms Angela Liu. The meeting was also attended by Ms Tanja Markuš, coordinator of “Women in Culture” programme at the Women’s Right Center. 

Playwright Mr Ljubomir Đurković, professor at the University of Montenegro Ms Vesna Kilibarda and painter Mr Srđan Vukčević are this year’s winners of the 13th July award.  President of the Parliament Mr Ranko Krivokapić presented the award to laureates. 

The Committee considered two proposals for laws

Draft negotiating positions for chapters 15 and 19 unanimously adopted as well as reports on negotiation chapters 4 and 11. 

On Saturday 11 July, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Suljo Mustafić will visit Srebrenica, as part of the state delegation headed by President of Montenegro Mr Filip Vujanović, on the occasion of marking 20 years of genocide against Bosniaks.
