The Parliament of Montenegro joined the celebration of the International Day of Democracy by implementing the activities under this year’s slogan “Strengthening Voices for Democracy”.

Mr Srđan Milić and Mr Milutin Simović, co-chairpersons of the Working Group for Building Trust in the Election Process met today in the Parliament of Montenegro with Mr Rastislav Vrbensky, UNDP Resident Representative to Montenegro.

Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration Mr Slaven Radunović will meet with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Mr Erkki Tuomioja, on Monday 16 September.

The reception will be held in the Cabinet of the President, starting at 13:30.

President Niinistö extended his wishes of successful work to the President Krivokapić during his presidency over the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, pointing out that the appointment to such an important international function was a great acknowledgement to Montenegro.

Delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Parliament of Montenegro, consisting of the following: Mr Saša Pešić, Head of Delegation; Mr Srđa Popović, Docent PhD; Mr Srđan Perić; and Ms Zdenka Popović, paid an official visit to the National Assembly of Hungary, in the period 9-11 September 2013.

Media representatives were informed on planned activities and new ways of communication of the Committee on European Integration.
