The conference was organised by the Parliament of Montenegro, NGO “Civic Alliance”, and the Institution of Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro.

On the occasion of celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of entering into force of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro and the NGO “Civic Alliance” will hold a Press Conference in the Parliament of Montenegro, on 3 September 2013, starting at 11:00, in the Blue Room of the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Parliament of Montenegro is represented by the Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković, and the Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration Mr Slaven Radunović.

Within the project “Democracy Workshops”, the Parliament of Montenegro and the Hellenic Parliament organised a visit to Athens for eight students and two teachers of the primary school “Bajo Pivljanin“ from Donja Brezna, Plužine, in the period from 27 to 30 August 2013.

Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Suljo Mustafić attended the “Eighth Conference of Presidents of the Parliaments of Small European States”, held in Reykjavik, in the period from 27 to 30 August.

Today’s meeting was marked by unified discussion on the Law on Financing of Political Parties and Law on Financing the Election Campaign for the President of Montenegro, Mayor and President of Municipality.
