- Born on 13 May 1966 in Nikšić.
- Graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology in Podgorica, in 1991.
- After finishing studies, he works in Željezara – Nikšić (Steelworks Nikšić) at the most responsible positions in the key product line – steelworks
- He was the President of the Union Organization of Željezara from 2004.
- From 2008 to the political engagement in Democratic Front he was the President of the Central Committee of the Free Trade Union of Montenegro.
- Known as a prominent labour leader and fighter for workers rights.
- The leader of many protests and strikes, aimed at improvement of socio-economic position of workers.
- Winner of numerous national and international trophies in boxing, in boxing courts all across former Yugoslavia and Europe.
