During the last day of the summer session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe considered Draft Protocol No. 16 to the European Convention on Human Rights and report “Keeping political and criminal responsibility separate”

Characterised as the most significant gathering of the representatives of national parliaments in the calendar of the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE, the 22nd Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Office for Security and Cooperation in Europe (PA OSCE) will be held from 29th June to 4th July of this year.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and the permanent members Mr Milutin Simović and Mr Goran Danilović will participate at the 22nd Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly. 

On the fourth day of the Summer Session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe considered the following topics: Popular protest and challenges to freedom of assembly, media and speech, State interference with privacy on the Internet, Tackling discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity and Post-monitoring dialogue with “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”

On the third day of the Summer Session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe considered the following topics: Status of Delegation of Island to PACE - Corruption as a threat to the rule of law - Putting an end to coerced sterilisations and castrations - Equal access to health care.
