The Croatian Parliament will host the 59th Annual Meeting of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which is being held in Dubrovnik form 11 to 14 October 2013.

On the final day of the Autumn Session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe considered the Report on combating discrimination against older persons on the labour market and Report on strengthening the institution of ombudsman in Europe.

Serbian President Mr Tomislav Nikolić addressed the Parliamentary Assembly, during the fourth day of the Autumn Session. He pointed out that Serbia was a step away from a great opportunity and that it would not miss it as well as that Serbia would use all its capacities in order to become European country in every respect, in accordance with the basic values of the Council of Europe – protection of human rights, the rule of law and democracy. 

On the third working day, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe decided to restore the voting rights to the Icelandic Delegation, which meanwhile had complied with the PACE recommendation and appointed one woman as the permanent member of the Delegation, thereby honouring the PACE rules regarding the less represented gender in national delegations. 

Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe had very important activities during the second working day.

Ms Nursuna Memecan and Mr Kimmo Sasi, co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee and Mr Zoran Vukčević, PhD, Head of Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to PACE addressed the numerous media representatives.
