President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Ms Anne Brasseur held a meeting with heads of national delegations where they discussed the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and further activities. Although one of the smallest delegations, according to the PACE report, Montenegrin delegation was one of the most active in this session. 

The focus of members and the wider public, during the third day of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly April Session, being held in Strasbourg in the period 7 - 11 April 2014, was a discussion about recent events in Ukraine and threats to the functioning of democratic institutions.

On day two of the Spring Session, which is being held in Strasbourg, in the period 7-11 April 2014, the following topics are discussed at the plenum of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe: prostitution, trafficking and modern slavery in Europe, request for Partnership for democracy between the Parliament of the Council of Europe and Parliament of Kirgizstan and rights of traditional national minorities in Europe.

The final day of the PACE Winter Session

On the final day of the PACE Winter Session, the discussion was focused on revising the European Convention on Transfrontier Television and accountability of international organisations for human rights violations.

On day four of the PACE Winter Session, during the morning, the urgent debate was focused on the functioning of democratic institutions in Ukraine.
