All three parties assessed as successful implementation of the programme “Building Capacities of the Parliament of Montenegro”.

At the meeting held today, the Commission postponed election of the Deputy Chairman for the next meeting due to necessary inter-party consultations of ruling coalition representatives.

Due to the lack of quorum the ninth meeting of the Legislative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro was not held.

Montenegro signed the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse in 2009, and the Parliament of Montenegro ratified it in 2010.

The Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, Mr. Halil Duković, PhD and the Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee, Ms. Ljiljana Đurašković, PhD will meet with representatives of Union of association of parents of children and youth with disabilities ”Naša inicijativa“ (Our Initiative), on Friday, 15th March, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the Blue Room of the Parliament of Montenegro.
