Information from the Eighth Meeting of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, held on 29^th March 2013.

The Report “Monitoring the work of courts in Montenegro” presented, organized by NGO Civic Alliance and USAID / East West Management Institute.

The Collegium adopted the Action Plan for Strengthening Legislative and Control Role of the Parliament  in 2013 as well as the Plan of legislative work of the Parliament and the Calendar of the Spring Session.

The Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, at the seventh meeting held on 29th March, 2013, adopted Conclusions from the initial meeting of chairmen of committees on foreign policy of the parliaments of South-Eastern Europe, held in Zagreb, in October, 2012.

At the meeting held today, Committee for International Relations and Emigrants adopted Conclusions and Recommendation regarding permanent resolution of borders with the Republic of Croatia by a majority of votes of MPs present, thus ending the sixth meeting.

The Performance Report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration for 2012 considered and adopted.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr. Ranko Krivokapić held talks today with representatives of the Jewish National Fund headed by Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Efi Stenzler.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić extended a congratulatory message on the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday - Easter, to the believers who observe the Gregorian calendar, the Bishop of Kotor Monsignor Ilija Janjić and the Archbishop of Bar Monsignor Zef Gaši as well as the clergy.
