Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms considered multiple items on the Agenda.

Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro at the meeting, held today, agreed on the Work plan of the “Women Parliament“, which is to be held on the International Women Day 8th March 2013, with the aim of promoting human rights of women in Montenegro.

Importance of the transparency of the negotiating process emphasized.

During the first day of the visit, after the greetings of the project coordinator, Ms. Teodora Fuior,  Mr. Dejan Jović, PhD spoke on the topic “Croatian Foreign Policy and Regional Perspectives, while Mr. Vlatko Cvrtila, PhD spoke on the topic “Development of Security–Intelligent System of the Republic of Croatia”.

Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro, attended the Seminar on “Fight against organized crime, corruption and money laundering“ on 4th and 5th March, 2013, together with members of parliaments of the countriesin pre-accession negotiations and MPs of the European Parliament.

Improvement of the parliamentary cooperation necessary.

Representatives of the Parliament of Montenegro will attend the Seminar on “Fight against organised crime, corruption and money laundering“, which is to be held in Brussels, on 4th and 5th March 2013, organised by the European Parliament. MPs of the parliaments in pre-accession negotiations as well as MPs of the European Parliament will attend the Seminar.
