Deputy Protectors of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro Ms Zdenka Perović and Mr Siniša Bjeković took their oath today before President of Montenegrin Parliament Mr Ranko Krivokapić, who told them they should remain autonomous from all influences of the Government. 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today has received Mr Hashim Thaçi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.

Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Nada Drobnjak was an introductory speaker at the session „Overcoming gender inequality in Montenegro: where are we?“, at today held final conference of the project “Fast Forward Human Rights”. 

In Abu Dhabi, President Krivokapić met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreigh Affairs of the UAE and member of the ruling royal family, and held a lecture at the New York University for students, professors and representatives of diplomatic corps.

Sitting of the First Extraordinary Session in 2015 will be held in the Great Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro, today, starting at 11:00h. 

During the official visit, President of the Parliament of Montenegro and President Emeritus of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr RankoKrivokapić met President of the Federal National Council of the Parliament of the UAE Mr Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr. 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro and President Emeritus of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapić is paying an official visit to the United Arab Emirates upon the invitation of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Al Nahyan, member of the ruling royal family and Minister of Foreigh Affairs of the UAE and President of the Federal National Council – the Parliament of the UAE Mr Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr. 

On the occasion of today’s tragedy in France, President Krivokapić sent a letter of condolence to President of the Senate of the French Republic Mr Gérard Larcher and President of the National Assembly Mr Claude Bartolone.
