Ten amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Income Tax of Natural Persons submitted.

Due to the lack of quorum the ninth meeting of the Legislative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro was not held.

Montenegro signed the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse in 2009, and the Parliament of Montenegro ratified it in 2010.

It has been concluded that the role and significance of the Parliament of Montenegro was getting stronger in the control process, and that the mechanisms for implementation of the public budget control needed to be further enhanced.

Legislative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro held its fifth meeting today.

The Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, Mr. Halil Duković, PhD and the Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee, Ms. Ljiljana Đurašković, PhD will meet with representatives of Union of association of parents of children and youth with disabilities ”Naša inicijativa“ (Our Initiative), on Friday, 15th March, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the Blue Room of the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Halil Duković, Dr and the member of the Committee, MP Ms. Ljiljana Đurašković, PhD will meet with representatives of the Joint initiative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the European Union, formed with the aim of providing support to the improvement of the system of state administration in the countries of Eastern and Central Europe (SIGMA).

The Committee assessed positively the Rulebook on amendments to the Rulebook on internal organization and systematization of the administrative service of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interest.
