Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, Ms Ljiljana Đurašković, will participate at the Interparliamentary meeting of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament and competent committees of national parliaments, to be held on Wednesday, 23 September 2015 in Brussels

 

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, at today’s 57th meeting, considered the Proposal for the Law on Removal and Transplantation of Human Tissues and Cells for Therapeutic Purposes, submitted by the Government of Montenegro.

Seminar “Code of Ethics for MPs” held

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), today organised the seminar “Code of Ethics for MPs, thereby another activity established by the 2015 Activity Plan of the Committee has been implemented.

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), will organise a seminar “Code of Ethics for MPs”, which will take place in hotel Ramada, Podgorica, on Tuesday, 17 September 2015.

Committee did not consider the Proposal for the Decision on Supplements to the Code of Ethics for MPs 

 

At the 52nd meeting of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, that was held today, the following was considered:

At its 55th meeting held today, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms considered amendments (5) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Minority Rights and Freedoms.

Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Ms Ljiljana Đurašković today met with representatives of American NGO “The Advocates for Human Rights” Ms Rosalyn Park and Ms Amy Bergquist, and Executive Director of the NGO “Women’s Rights Centre” Ms Maja Raičević, upon their request.
