The Committee considered several amendments

Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro held the first bilateral meeting with the Work, Social Issues and Health Committee of the Albanian Parliament, on the topic: “Women’s entrepreneurship – Towards Cetinje Parliamentary Forum”, in Budva, on 7 June. 

Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak participated in the Conference “Women and Heritage – Towards the founding of Women’s Museum of Montenegro”, which was held in Cetinje today. Chairperson of the Committee spoke on the topic “Gender equality politics and inclusion of gender approach in managing cultural heritage in Montenegro”. 

At the meeting held today, the Committee considered the 2014 Report on the implementation of the Plan for Action on Gender Equality in Montenegro (PAPRR 2013- 2017), with the Program of the implementation of PAPRR for the period 2015-2016

At today’s press conference on the occasion of completion of campaign “Men’s League against Violence against Women”, the results of the campaign were presented by: Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak, Ambassador of the USA to Montenegro Ms Margaret A. Uyehara, Executive Director of the NGO NOVA Feminist Culture Centre Ms Nataša Nelević and one of the promoters of this campaign Mr Danilo Marunović.

Press conference on the occasion of completion of campaign “Men’s League against Violence against Women” , conducted by the Gender Equality Committee and NGO NOVA Feminist Culture Centre, with the support of the US Embassy to Montenegro, will be held in the Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro, on Tuesday, 19 May 2015, at 11.00h.
