Commemoration on the occasion of death of Mr Omer Kurpejović, former President of the Parliament of Montenegro, will be held on Saturday, 7 December 2013, at 11:00am, in the Hall of the old building of the Government – Jovana Tomaševića Street.

Joint Declaration adopted

During the continuation of the XV Cetinje Parliamentary Forum, dedicated to the topic “Strengthening the Oversight Role of Parliament in the Defence and Security Sector”, which started today in hotel Maestral, Budva, two sessions were held.

Member of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants MP Vasilije Lalošević will participate in the “Regional workshop for MPs: Climatic changes - influence on the Mediterranean region” organised by the “Circle of Mediterranean Parliamentarians for Sustainable Development – COMPSUD”, which will be held in Athens, in the period 13-15 November. 

Day of Parliamentarism in Montenegro is celebrated on 31^st October, on the day of constitution of the first National Assembly in Montenegro in 1906, in Cetinje. 

The oversight role of the Parliament had been enhanced and the administrative and professional capacities as well as transparency had been further strengthened.
