Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković and Deputy Chairperson Ms Ljiljana Đurašković will hold meetings with Head of the UNICEF Office and representatives of the NGO Federation of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities "Our Initiative", on Monday, 28 April 2014. 

The Committee for Human Rights and Freedoms, at the 30^th meeting held today, as the umbrella committee, considered the Proposal for the Law on removal and transplantation of human organs for therapeutic purposes and the Proposal for the Law on execution of a suspended sentence and a sentence of community service  

The visit was organized in order to assess the situation in Montenegro and the collection of relevant data necessary for the preparation of the report of the European Commission on the progress of Montenegro, to be published in October. 

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Halil Duković and the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee, Ms Ljiljana Đurašković, met with the European Commission expert on the institution of protector of human rights and freedoms, legal advisor of the Danish Ombudsman, Mr Klavs Duus Kinnerup Hede.

Two proposals for the laws considered

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, at its 28^th meeting held today, in extended composition, as umbrella Committee, considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro. 

At its 27^th meeting held today in extended composition, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms considered and adopted the 2013 Performance Report of the Committee and the 2014 Proposal of the Activity Plan of the Committee.
