At its 26th meeting held today, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, as umbrella committee, considered Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Anti-discrimination Law, submitted by MPs Snežana Jonica and Neven Gošović.

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro organised a visit to Senior Home and Prison in Bijelo Polje, thus implementing another activity determined by the 2013 Plan.

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro will organise a visit to Senior Home and Prison in Bijelo Polje, on Tuesday, 25 February 2014, starting at 11:00 am. 

Mr Hughes commended the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms citing that the organising of public debates and visits to institutions in order to monitor the state of human rights in them was especially significant.

Committee considered four amendments 

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro held today 25th meeting where it, as an umbrella committee, considered Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Identity Card, submitted by MP Neven Gošović and amendments (two) submitted to this Proposal for the Law by MPs from the Positive Montenegro: Ms Azra Jasavić, Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Goran Tuponja. 

Promotion of the comic book “Troubles with Rocky and other stories about children’s rights”, in the organisation of the institution of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms and NGO Human Rights Action, was held in Primary School “Radojica Perović”, Podgorica, today.
