On the agenda: Implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in the education system

Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak spoke on the topics: “Institutional mechanisms: Mandate and Responsibility” and “Gender Orientation and Inter-institutional Cooperation”.

Today’s second joint meeting of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Gender Equality Committee has promoted the Tempus project ″Heart″, based on supporting the development and improvement of training courses and programs at universities in the Western Balkans 

Proposal for the Law on Health Care considered 

Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak participated in the regional workshop dedicated to eliminating and combating domestic violence and all forms of violence against women and girls, which was held in Skopje, between 30 September and 1 October. 

Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Nada Drobnjak and Goran Tuponja, with members of the Committee Branka Tanasijević and Branka Bošnjak Doc PhD, held a meeting today with Ida Granqvist, representative of the Swedish Institute and Leader of the Project SEVEN, who is dealing with the issue of violence against women worldwide and Tihana Ćulafić, actress and Leader of the project in Montenegro.

The conference was held on the topic of "Selective abortions in Montenegro", and the opening panelist was the Chairperson of the Gender EqualityCommittee, Nada Drobnjak.
